SHIPPING

Our default shipping method is UPS Ground but we also offer UPS 2nd Day Air. You will be offered your choice of Ground or 2nd Day Air when you check out. If you absolutely, positively need your wine overnight, we will do our very best to arrange that. Please contact us at John@pearcefamilywines.com for rates and availability.

If you want us to ship your wine to a residential address, please note that an adult signature is required for delivery and the driver will not leave the wine if no adult is home. UPS also charges an additional $5 fee for residential deliveries which will be added to your invoice.

Our shipping rates are based on our actual costs for packing materials and shipping. We reserve the right to modify our shipping policy and rates as warranted by rapidly changing shipping regulations.

If your state or country is not on our list of shipping destinations, we may still be able to get our wine to you. Please contact us at John@pearcefamilywines.com to discuss shipping alternatives.

We do not ship when weather conditions are very hot or very cold along the route that your wine will take. We will try to contact you before we ship your wine and you will have the opportunity to give us additional shipping instructions. If you have any questions or concerns about shipping, or anything else regarding your order, please contact us immediately at John@pearcefamilywines.com after placing your order.

All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation as to the legal rights of anyone to import wine into any state outside of California. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wines. In placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom the wine will be delivered is also at least 21 years old. At the time of delivery, all shipments require the signature of an adult who must show identification proving he or she is at least 21 years old.

REFUND POLICY

We will replace or refund you for wine that is damaged or flawed. If the same wine is no longer available, we will offer you another wine of comparable value, but you may choose to receive a refund instead. Please contact us immediately by email (John@pearcefamilywines.com) to arrange replacement or refund if you receive damaged or flawed wine.

We cannot however be held responsible for wine that is lost or stolen or after three delivery attempts by the carrier. Incorrect delivery information (including zip code mistakes), incorrect addresses or re-routing of packages at the point of delivery will result in an extra handling charge for ground or air shipments. If wine is returned to us, you are responsible for subsequent return shipping charges and reshipment charges.

PRIVACY

We respect your privacy and support all efforts to protect it. We will never re-sell or distribute your personal information to any other entity for any reason whatsoever. This includes your e-mail address, as well as your mailing address and phone numbers. When you place an order with us, we request your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, credit card number, expiration date and security code. We consider this information to be absolutely private. We use the information only for the limited purposes of processing your orders, administering our site and notifying you of upcoming wine releases and updates. Your full credit card number is not stored anywhere in our system, and we do not share your private information with anyone and never will.
